All began when I returned to London after working for a couple of years in China. I received a very attractive offer to join a tech company as a consultant, while still doing small gigs for friends in Beijing. The experience was amazing. Impressive projects and freedom that I could actually enjoy. I finally felt like I could balance my personal and professional life while multiplying my life experiences. All these perks, however, came with a price - financial insecurity and low chance to ever get a mortgage.
This is when Corgee started to take shape. It started with an idea that all of us should be able to enjoy the benefits of new working modes without sacrificing financial security. It does not matter if you are a self-employed, freelancer, or SME owner - you should not be discriminated based on your professional circumstances. Not only such goal is achievable, but it can also be designed in such as way that it becomes enjoyable and brings benefits across multiple areas of life. This is precisely why Corgee, exists.
Today, our journey begins.
